The transliteration of the thai name is "namtaan peep". Amazingly good. 😋
Woah, Namtaan peep. As we know, this sugar is made from coconut, uniqely it is mixed in coconut drink (coconut ice), so-called "es degan" in Indonesian. I mean, coconut sugar for coconut ice. 😀
Yes I know. My father Indonesian born & raised - before Independence. In Thai we use this sugar in EVERYTHING - to balance spicy & sour flavours.
