Yes, a multi-tasking extraordinaire. Or so I thought. I loved to cook, and with all raving about my spread, it was a way to show off. You know, you were correct. After decades, I finally admitted to myself that I never enjoyed the holidays. It was a duty I imposed upon myself. No one forced me to do it.

But when you are done, there is no retreating or second guessing yourself. I readily admitted that to my family.

The whirlwind activities kind of blocks out the real meaning of Christmas. Now, I've settled into my decision to live a minimalist lifestyle concerning the holidays and committed to finding ways to simplify my life in other areas.
