Looking at the sample dinner, I'm in complete awe of the fact that you'd been taking that on all by yourself. I'm glad you asked for assistance cause that's a trying meal to have to prepare yourself. And I doubt the exhaustion in making it would let you enjoy the Thanksgiving enough.
There's a lot of pump that goes in these times of the year but it's good that you're cutting back and taking time to personalize the cards. Everything looks so wonderful dear. !luv🌺🤗

Yes, a multi-tasking extraordinaire. Or so I thought. I loved to cook, and with all raving about my spread, it was a way to show off. You know, you were correct. After decades, I finally admitted to myself that I never enjoyed the holidays. It was a duty I imposed upon myself. No one forced me to do it.

But when you are done, there is no retreating or second guessing yourself. I readily admitted that to my family.

The whirlwind activities kind of blocks out the real meaning of Christmas. Now, I've settled into my decision to live a minimalist lifestyle concerning the holidays and committed to finding ways to simplify my life in other areas.
