Don't be afraid to ask for business.

I am working on being better at this, as a person who thrives in a support role, coming out and asking for things (leading) is the opposite of my normal state of being. That said, growth takes willingness to embrace discomfort, so I'm going in, I'm growing a huge set of technicals (as my six year old once said lol)!
