It’s one of the best days next to Friday and Saturday-it’s Friday Eve! Thursdays are also sort of my ‘hump’ day at work being as it’s in the middle of my workweek.
All pictures are from our adventures this past weekend in North Bend visiting our son and his wife and of course, little baby Olivia! It was a wonderful visit but much too short!

We did go for a hike and found a 600-ish year old growth fir tree. ChatGPT estimated it to be that old after analyzing a pic we sent.
Both Bill and @silvertop were napping during the picture. Guess it runs in the family-right?! 🤣
Work was good today. I spent a bit of time working on things that needed attention. Marissa, our newest employee, is working with me so I can give training on optics and frame adjustments. It’s my hope she might wish to apprentice as an optician and eventually become licensed. I’m also planning on teaching some of my job duties to her as well. Who knows-perhaps she will make it so I can go on a vacation or retire in the future. She’s smart and I think she would be great at it.
