Quelle Surprise
Well, would you look at that, beer Saturday and not a pint or a can of Guinness to be seen. This week, I'm back with a refreshing IPA for a change.
Yep, you guessed it, It's Saturday again folks meaning that a few like-minded beer enthusiasts under the expert stewardship of the main man @detlev share some beers of the world. You might even get a story, a joke, a rundown of a great night out or an even better night in, just check out the #beersaturday tag.
Tuesdays and Saturdays are my two favourite days on Hive, Tuesday for #ThreeTuneTuesday and all of the great music we are spoiled with and Saturday for having a few well earned brews.
Sometimes when my wife is doing the grocery shopping, she surprises me with a sampling of random IPAs especially if they're ones she hasn't seen me drink before. That can be hit or miss, as you do end up with the occasional can of piss. However you can also unearth some gems.
This week she brought home a few Sailor Sam Hazy IPAs. Will they be piss or gem? Read on to find out.

Introducing Sailor Sam Hazy IPA
So I hadn't heard of this one until it arrived home with herself. It lived in the fridge for a gew weeks, as when I did have a drink, it was usually Guinness over recent weeks, but this weekend after the work week was done and the kids were in bed I enjoyed a few of these.
They were decent enough, with decent mouth feel, aroma and decent lacing on the pour. It's a beer I would drink again.

One thing I love about craft beers is the can art, you get some super funky designs on the cans. The can art here is only OK, but it did get the Loco lick of approval!
Yes, you heard me right, we now have a dog called Coco and a dog called Loco. Last week we had two Cocos, one was a rescue dog, so we had ro change her name, as two Cocos would have gotten a tad confusing for all involved! At least the name is very similar so she should eventually learn it as her name.
