(I would like to dedicate this post to a very special person in my life. The one who finds beauty even in my simplest moments and makes me feel valued in ways words cannot fully describe.)
Hello Assalamualaikum @everyone greetings to all from my side @theindicators.
Sometimes I open the gallery on my phone and look at my pictures, and honestly, I end up smiling a little… and feeling a bit embarrassed too. The truth is, most of my photos never turn out good. Sometimes my eyes are half closed, sometimes the lighting is wrong, and sometimes my face just looks strange. Many times I take a photo and delete it immediately because it simply doesn’t look right to me.
But life has a strange and beautiful side too. The same picture that looks ordinary or even bad to me… someone else looks at it and smiles and says,
"This picture is actually beautiful."
And at that moment, the same thought always comes to my mind:
“All my pictures turn out bad,
yet someone, with love in their eyes, calls them wonderful.” ✨🍂
In reality, it is not about the picture at all. It is about the way someone sees you. When a heart carries love, it finds beauty even in the most ordinary things.
I still remember one evening. I took a quick selfie without thinking much about it. The sky was a little dull, my hair was messy, and I looked tired. I sent the picture anyway, expecting the usual reaction that it wasn’t a good photo.
But the reply I received surprised me.
"You know something? This photo is really nice. You look very simple and natural in it."
That one sentence changed the way I looked at that picture. The same photo that felt ordinary to me suddenly felt special because someone saw it differently.
Another moment comes to my mind as well. One day I was out with friends and someone took a random photo of me without warning. I was not ready, not posing, just standing there naturally. When I saw the picture later, I immediately said, “Delete this one. It doesn’t look good.”
But someone smiled and said,
"No, don’t delete it. In this photo you look exactly like yourself."
That moment made me realize something important. We often look at ourselves with very critical eyes. We notice our flaws quickly. But the people who truly care about us don’t see those flaws the same way.
That is the beauty of love.
Love does not try to change someone.
Instead, it accepts them exactly as they are.
Maybe that is why even an ordinary photo can become special for someone. Because in that photo they are not just seeing a face… they are seeing a person they truly like and care about.
Even today, whenever I take a picture, I sometimes feel that it probably didn’t turn out well. But then that same thought gently returns to my mind:
“All my pictures turn out bad,
yet someone, with love in their eyes, calls them wonderful.”
And honestly, if there is even one person in your life who can see beauty in your ordinary moments… that itself is a blessing.
Because in the end, it is not the camera that decides what is beautiful.
It is the heart that does. ✨🍂
