My Little Art Corner... (Got My Organizers!!!! -- UNBOXING and ASSEMBLING)

in ASEAN HIVE COMMUNITY2 years ago

In my previous post, I mentioned about getting a gift card from exchanging some points in one of the apps I'm using. I used this gift card to buy some organizers I could use for my art materials and they arrived a couple days ago. Now, they're part of my little art corner inside my room. :)

This is the small table where I put my desktop easel for easy drawing. And you can see a glimpse of my organizer beside it. :)

Now, let's start with the unboxing and the installing of the said organizers. I got two of them, so I could separated the materials for painting and the other coloring stuff like markers, colored pencils, etc.

After tearing the first bubble wrap and opening one of the boxes, I was greeted by another bubble wrap. Well, it keeps the product safe, but not really good to use lots of these. haha

These are the wooden puzzle parts that I need to solve. haha But really, I enjoy doing this. It comes with the screws needed as well as a cute screw driver. Of course, I assembled it with papa because we both like doing so and it would be faster that way.

FREEBIE! It comes with this cute little bunny phone holder as well. :)

First things first, the drawer. The last organizer I bought didn't have a drawer, but this one does. It's so cute and it looks classically beautiful! <3

One down, one more to go. It was quite simple and fun to do. Well, I had a hard time assembling the first organizer similar to this in the past... but since I had that experience, it's much easier now. This one even has more parts. <3

Here are my two babies! Now, let's put all my art materials in.

Let me show you in more detail below. Let's start with the first organizer.

As you can see, I have my markers and pens in it. I also have my colored pencils. I think it's easier to choose the color or find the color I want to use by doing this. In the past, I keep my markers in a bag... and it takes me a while to find them. It's the same with the colored pencils. Well, I just kept my oil pastels in their original box, though. :)

Organizer number two is for painting. I have my acrylic tubes, paint brushes, watercolor tubes and solid ones in here. You may notice the numbers in my acrylic tubes. I'm using the ones with number 1 and the others are extra. I only have the primary colors, white and black because I usually just mix and match colors. I do have some small tubes in the drawer, though. :)

I keep my pencils, charcoals, and other stuff for sketching inside the drawer of my desktop easel. I actually have an organizer for this, but it's much easier to place them here, so I just need to bring my easel anywhere... I'd be using it anyway. :D

The organizers are small and I can put them on a table, so whenever I decide to make some artworks outside like in the dining table for instance, I can just take them with me and place it on the table. I used to bring all the bags and scatter every material in the past. Let' me show you some messy pictures whenever I draw or paint something. xD

Painting on the dining table...

Using markers... they're all over the floor. *PS: I didn't have a huge foam/mattress this time yet.)

See how messy that is!!! It's also a hassle to bring a lot of stuff from one place to another. Now, I just need to carry the organizer anywhere at home and start making artworks!

image.png

Now, I can either sit on the bed, go out, or even lie prone while drawing when I'm feeling lazy and just get some materials on this side. haha That's my little art corner... If you're wondering what's on the other side? Let me show you a glimpse. :)

image.png

It's my laptop and my drawing tablet. I haven't drawn digitally for a while now since it's quite a struggle using this unlike when you're actually drawing on a screen, but I'd try to get back to it when I have more time.

image.png

Above it is my dresser... Well, it's supposed to be a dresser, but stuff like my mini projector, speaker and humidifier are taking most of the space. It's easier to connect them to my laptop below, so when I feel like having a movie night, I can easily do so. Haven't done it in a while, though... usually just use the laptop or my phone.. xD

That's about it for this post. I hope you guys enjoyed it! See you around... and look forward to more art-related posts in the days to come. ;)
