My room transformation is still far from over. I have always wanted to install some LED lights in my room and I did mention that I ordered some when I posted about my room makeover last time. Well, I have unboxed and installed it several days back, but as I've said in my last blog, I got busy... and also sick. T_T
Well, it's better late than never... It's my simple joy and I'm in love with my room even more.
Let's do some unboxing first. I ordered it online using some cash back I got from my previous order and vouchers. I really like to receive vouchers because I can get stuff with huge discount or even for free at times. hahaha I'm mostly thrift and seldom buy stuff (except for art materials). Oftentimes, my mama buys for me because she knows I wouldn't buy something easily even though I like that item a lot. haha Anyway, let's start!
Papa already removed the plastic wrapper and the bubble wrap from the online shop. haha He was kinda more excited than me that time. lol
Inside the box, there are two 5-meter LED light strips since I ordered a 10-meter one. There are also an adaptor, a remote control and a connector -slash- for the signal thingy where you're going to direct your remote control at.
After the unboxing, papa helped me install the lights inside my room. I was still kind of out of breath that time because of my asthma, so papa volunteered to do it. After the installation, we tried it out!
Wide-angle shot of my ceiling. :) Apparently, 10 meters isn't enough, but it's okay. It covered the most important part which is at my background when working (in fornt of my PC).
Yep... this part. I actually want to add maybe just 5 more meters someday when I am able to exchange my loyalty points for some vouchers again. hahaha
It was various colors and options on how you want it to look like. You can also adjust the brightness of each color.
Above is a comparison for the color pink. The upper photo is the brightest option and the lower one is the dimmest. I usually use the latter when watching something through a projector or when I'm about to sleep and just enjoy the lights. I prefer sleeping with the lights off or in a dark room, but using the dimmest option seems comfortable for me as well. <3
BONUS!!!!
Are you familiar with the anime window on TikTok? I just tried it out this morning and it was so fun. I used my projector on my room wall and played a video on YouTube. The scenery you see from the "window" is from the Ghibli anime Spirited Away. It was so lovely! I'll try more videos next time... hopefully, with my cousins. <3
Anyway, I'll end my post here. Thanks a bunch for checking this out! Until next time!
