Another not-so-stressful day at work ended. I just had my dinner, played some mobile games and waited for mama because Mondays are usually anime night for us. However, she was quite busy with other stuff and asked if we could have our anime night tomorrow, instead.
I didn't have any idea on what to do. Well, I've got some anime lined up to watch, some games to play and a bunch of manga to read. I had to unwind and take my mind off things.
I then decided to get my sketchbook and my markers. It has been a week, I think? The last time I did some artwork was last Valentine's day. And so, I started thinking on what to draw.
Mostly, if I use markers, I just play with them. I don't really know how to use them properly, so I just scribbled until I ended up with this.
It's randomness at its peak, but I was able to actually enjoy scribbling and playing with colors using my markers.
I have here some progress shots of the artwork I just made. I hope you guys enjoy it!
I prepared my sketchbook and my markers. I was actually just on my foam when making this, so it's pretty much all fun and relaxation.
Using my pencil, I lightly created some patterns of what I want to draw. They're pretty random... Just some of my favorites like clouds, the moon, star, rainbow and so on.
Around this time, the main attractions (lol) of my artwork are done, so I just needed to crate random lines or patterns to fill up all the spaces. Of course, I'm going to make it as colorful as I can!
Now that I've filled up all the spaces on this page, all that's left to do is to add my username and signature. And so, I did.
And that's the artwork I ended up making tonight. It was unplanned, but I did enjoy and had a relaxing time playing with colors and my markers. It was effective in keeping my good mood after work.
As a bonus, I discovered an artwork I did when we didn't have any electricity after the typhoon. I couldn't take pictures of the progress because my phone died that time. haha Anyway, let me show it to you below.
Yep, it's a page full of Monkey D. Luffy's (from One Piece) smiling face. If I remember correctly, I was spending time with some of the kids here and they asked me to make something... And I chose Luffy since it's one of the easiest and most fun to draw... Especially the "chibi" version.
Anyway, I'll end my post here. I have to read some manga before calling it a night. Until next time!!!
