With the "imminent" release of the Jeffrey Epstein files, my question is going to be - can what is released be trusted? The case likely involves many, many household names and people who are among the richest in the world - but they will also appear on both sides of the political spectrum. Given the current US government, I think it is fair to suspect that there might be some cleansing and redacting going on in prior to the release, to protect some of the names - and there will be emphasis put on any names that would gain a political advantage, or just out of spite.
Anyone involved in that kind and level of offence, should be convicted.
No matter who they are.
Right?
Why do you think so many wealthy people are such perverted sexual deviants?
I actually have very little faith that there is going to be anything that revealing in the documents anyway, but if there is, it will be to make it look like Trump is a stand up guy - but Epstein and Trump were friends. And given Trump's history - what do you reckon?
Would Trump supporters happily leave their wives and daughter's with him for a night?
I suspect not. Unless they are looking for the Stormy Daniels deal.
Guilt by association comes to mind, and in these celebrity and obscene wealth circles, it is the other side of the coin, because they are also looking for glory via association in the first place. As the saying goes, "Lay with dogs, rise with fleas" and I think there are a lot of people who have been nervously scratching in the last few years, with Epstein and then Diddy cases coming to light.
There is probably even some overlap.
Wealth and celebrity seem to be incredibly inbred, and considering how narrow the pool is, statistically there is bound to be a lot of mixing of social groups over time. And as some stars rise, invites go out to A-list parties.
A is for asshole.
These aren't one-off events when people were at college and made a mistake - these are years and even decades of systematic abuse that would require a huge number of people to remain quiet. Much like the years of abuse from Harvey Weinstein on the casting couch, where celebrity women didn't speak out, knowing what was happening to these other young girls, and even after their careers were solidified.
Aren't people who knew and did nothing, also guilty of something?
We keep putting celebrities on some kind of pedestal and showering them with anything they desire, and celebrating the wealthy as if money equates to goodness, and then wonder why so many are so twisted. They live in a fantasy land, where people do whatever they want for them, just to be close to them, and over time, they keep upping the stakes and lowering the morality to keep themselves entertained. How many of them are able to maintain a normal relationship when they are constantly treated like demigods?
The more celebrity is valued, the worse they are going to get. They are the school bullies who rather than getting punished, are rewarded for their bad behaviour with fame, fortune and an endless line of whatever they want provided, given to them willingly.
The more they are given freely, the more entitled they feel to take.
Even when it's not on offer.
I don't know what is in the coming release, but I do know that governments can't be trusted to tell the truth about anything, whether it be Epstein, JFK, or aliens. Which is interesting, since the government is there for the public, meaning all of these classified documents held by our respective governments, are ours. None of them should be classified, especially ones around something like sexual assault and paedophilia. This isn't for national security, there are no weapons of mass destruction involved - so why the secrecy?
Where there's smoke...
The truth is being burned.
