How do we know anything is "real"? People have had fake accounts on the web since its inception. The same can be said of the results that Google et al. present to us; we just take it for granted that that's the correct procedure for removing a kidney. 🤷♂️
It's all about trust that has to be earned. There are good reasons why people say to be wary of medical advice you find online. The bots may lead us astray. We are 'blessed' with too much data these days. I expect we'll see a lot more generated content and it will get harder to tell what came from humans.
