I think downvotes are a really good idea on paper, when used to protect from spam and abuse....but when they get to be 'free' and used like this...It does nothing to benefit this blockchain.
In fact, like @whatsup mentioned above, actually turns companies away from Steem and investment. It'll be tough for me to leave this place and have no intention to. But I can see how businesses would just want nothing to do with it.

You should remember that there are hundreds, maybe thousands of accounts with higher stake than mine. When they decide that vote buying aka sponsoring is good for blockchain then they will destroy my account with few clicks
don't mistake them not bothering to attack you as them agreeing with your twisted and ill-informed vendetta ... I've talked to several of the larger stakeholders.. there is only one of them who agreed you have a point. The others see value in the SBI program for contributing to retaining active members. Something you are trying to destroy.
It's much easier to keep an active member than get a new one established. You are contributing to driving people away.
One can only assume that your penis is so small and has been rejected and laughed at so much that you now take your sexual frustration out on SBI. I support you if you were to go on the crusade of getting rid of spammers, plagiarizers, and, in general, extremely horrible content which was posted only to make a quick coin.
