Cutty Sark in London
Let me show you and tell you a little bit about this area in London, Cutty Sark in Greenwich is definitely one of the most favourite areas for Londoners specially when the sun is out and I have some photos to show you why.
Be brave, get on the DLR and head to Cutty Sark.
As you get to the station it might not look like much but as soon as you pass this arch get ready to see a whole new beautiful world.
To start, from this are we get a huge riverside view all over the city and amazing for a walk along the river or maybe just even to sit there and see the life goes by.
Riverside Thames view
The Thames is a beautiful (unfortunately, very dirty) river, but still we are lucky to have it crossing the city of London and we are able to get so many different riverside views from so many different places. Each of these views more beautiful than the previous one and I never get tired of any of them!
So much to do
Not only you have the riverside views, you have a market, the university and the great Greenwich Park that I will be sharing with you in a different time, also a lot of shops, restaurants and pubs all over the place.
Here you can start understanding what I meant when I said that this is one of the most popular areas for Londoners when the sun is out. For sure you will have a lot of people around.
On top of it, during summer and sunny days you usually get a lot of street food stalls around, so when you are tired and want to grab a snack you don't need to get closed in some restaurant, you still can have some really nice and cheap food while enjoying the sun by the river.

Carrousels keep appearing
Also during the warmer months we have here, around London and with all these street food stalls we get the traditional carrousels appearing to bring joy to so many people. And we all love to see joyful people.
If not, we really need to work on that.
It is just brilliant to be able to walk around and see people enjoying their life! Many times we are all focus on the negatives and tired all the time. So days like this make everything worth the while.
The University of Greenwich
Here's just some of the buildings that are part of the University of Greenwich, you can see the Greenwich park in the background. This is just next to where the Cutty Sark is and it is another amazing extension to this place.
I bet the students that are stressing with their classes and trying to learn are not the most happy to see everyone else just taking over and chilling while they have to go to classes!
There is obviously a lot of history in this area and related with the buildings.
