Let me show you Regent's Park
The other day I left the house to grab a coffee when I noticed that I had the time for a Twitter space completely wrong.
I was invited to be on this Twitter space about NFTs and a new platform that is being built and that a friend of mine is working on.
Was already in the coffee shop when I got the notification that the Twitter space was going to start shortly. I am terrible keeping the times for this online events.
Luckily I was just around the corner of Regent's Park and the day outside was looking just glorious.
So very quickly I had to organise myself, I was able to finish what I was doing before the Twitter space started and I left the coffee shop just as I was on my way to go and look for a place in the park where I could take a sit and just enjoy the presentation and all the conversations.
The thing is that as soon as I entered the park I started walking while I was already listening to the Space and I was enjoying a lot, so walking was what I have decided to do. I didn't even notice the time go by.
While I was working around and listening to this space and because the Park was looking so good with so many people around just enjoying the sun, I had to capture some photos. I can't stop myself to grab some clicks when I am out. Also the conversation and the space was mainly full of photographers, so listening to all the stories and their projects got my creative juices going.
I am going to be honest, while I was taking the photos I was not planning on catching any breath taking, over the top photos, all I wanted to do was to capture the nature in it's natural form. And that's what I have done. That is also part of the reason why I didn't wanted to touch in this photos at all.
This are some pure clicks and no edits, you get to see exactly what I saw.
In the beginning I thought this was going to be a bad idea but to say the truth it was actually a very good mistake I have done by messing the hours of this space. Because I think I have enjoyed even more than if I was home just sitting in from of my desktop.
Only noticed that I was already walking around for one hour and thirty minutes when my friend decided to announce that would be a good idea to terminate the space, that was already dragging too long since it was just supposed to be one hour.
Now when it comes to Regent's Park, I have told you about it in some other posts and that's why I wanted to share some images of the place with you. Just another ginormous Park in Central London. This is something you don't get in many cities, another of the great things about London.
And this is a huge park, like many others, to be honest with you it is very difficult to choose and tell you which one would be my favourite, because all of them have their special feeling to them.
I feel like that I will be working from parks around London way more often, and that is one of the big benefits of working remotely and for yourself. You can choose where and where to work. This was a "work session" but it didn't feel like that at all.
And if you know me, you know that I work hard when I have to but I am also the laziest person ever. So this is a great option.
If you have the chance to get out there and get some work done from a different place, do it.
And around Regent's Park you will be able to get to so many other amazing places. This should be definitely on list of places to visit.
