The standards of beauty within the world plants draw similarities from that of humans. One standard mostly trumps all others. But that does not mean others are lesser than. Does a plant only possess value when its flowers bloom? Or is it only necessary when it bears fruit. That may be true in many cases, but the argument can be made that there is also beauty in patterns. That it is intriguing to see way of growth and architecture. Just like with this bamboo which mesmerizes the eyes with its structure, as it draws attention to itself and its large stature.
So can we also find purpose in things that are different from the known standard, as long as we are content with it.
This picture was taken with a OnePlus 8T and was not manually edited by me. What the camera software on smartphones does nowadays is another point. It was taken in a nature park in Suriname.
What do you see in the image? Is it beyond the standard?
