Are you Addicted to Hive? And is that a Good or Bad Thing?

We've all been addicted to one thing or another at some point in our lives. Some are addicted to softdrinks, some to snacking, alcohol, or even memes. So can we become addicted to Hive? That is the question of the day. And the answer is probably yes. It's highly likely that we've all been or currently are addicted to one or more mainstream social media platforms.

Wanting to know what you're friends are doing, or what the most recent political gossip is. Recently I've often found myself thinking about opening Hive and scrolling through the posts, which is much easier now with the android apps Ecency and Dapplr.

The difference with this so-called Hive addiction compared to your normal mainstream social media urges is that wanting to be on Hive is not as bad as the other. Spending too much time of facebook can usually be considered a waste of time, time you won't get back. While spending time on Hive can actually give you something in return. Something tangible in cryptocurrency that you can use for whatever you want to. This is why it doesn't bother me that I want to open up Hive. Because either way I win. What about you? Are you addicted to Hive?

I like owning my own content and not providing stuff free to Zuckerberg.

Its free as well now on the blockchain, but the difference is that it's free for everyone, so no value in selling it.
