I drew this figure from behind to capture a quiet, heavy moment. The crossed arms resting on the head suggest deep thoughts, maybe worry, maybe rest. While the simple chair and rough strokes keep the focus on the feeling rather than the face.
Materials used: 12B sketch pencil on a sketch pad.
