Though the world acts as though it has no losers hierarchy, it does.

The obvious ones are at the base: broken, addicted, jobless. They are flagged by society as cautionary examples of what not to be.

Above them are the silent losers—those in suits who smile at meetings yet are dead inside. They established lives like cages following every rule.

Higher still, you meet the "successful losers"—rich, renowned but hollow. They won the game everyone else is playing only to learn the game had no significance.

The losers' hierarchy is about playing the wrong game rather than money. The true victors are those who abandon ladders they did not create and define success on their own conditions.
