This morning I took my son to school. Today I am scheduled to go to work at night. My son is taking his school exams, today is the 2nd day of exams at his school.
Yesterday after dropping off at school, my daughter and I took a walk around the village by motorbike to enjoy the fresh morning air. The scenery in our village is still a lot of agricultural land.
My daughter seemed very happy to be taken for a morning walk with her father. As far as the eye can see what we see is only a vast expanse of green, planted with cassava plants.
We stopped several times to enjoy the beautiful scenery. Back when I was a kid, this place was a rubber plantation. Extensive rubber trees. I and my childhood friends often play in this place. There are still many buffaloes that are herded in this area. Sometimes we like to come ride the buffaloes. But because of the interests of the authorities, rubber plantations were cut down and transformed into villas belonging to state officials. Because there is a change of ruler in the government, the complex of villas here is abandoned and no longer managed by the owner. Many of the villas were demolished. Perhaps to avoid the assets of the former officials being known by the new state authorities.
After we were satisfied with our morning walk, the two of us went home to eat the wife's menu, because we were hungry. Yesterday I stopped by the market to buy catfish. Today's menu is fried catfish.
