The Ukrainian currency "Hrywnja" is suffering bad. This is of course no surprise and leads a lot of the civilians to change their saving into cryptos. But not only civilians are using cryptos. The Ukrainian government officially collects donations in cryptocurrency. There are multiple reasons for this, but one is of course the easy access to it. This is just a short overview and a snapshot, since numbers are very dynamic.

Hier ein kurzer Überblick über den momentanen Stand, natürlich ändern sich die Zahlen ständig.

There were about 2334 Ether donated (~ 6.8m $). The wallet only holds 3.5 Ether, so most Ether were spent again.

Only 11k DOTs were donated so far (about 210K $). This is particular interesting, because the founder of polkadot Gavin Wood promised to spend 4m $ in DOT if there was a DOT address provided.

Es wurden bisher nur 11k DOTs gespendet (~210K $). Interessant daran ist, dass Gavin Wood, der Polkadot-Gründer, versprochen hat 4mio DOTs zu spenden, falls eine DOT Adresse bereitgestellt wird.
