I consider myself fortunate for having acquired two action figures of Kalibak. One is a megafig from McFarlane's DC Multiverse line and the other is from the older Mattel DC Universe Classics line.
The larger one is the McFarlane version. The smaller Mattel version is reminiscent of the Super Powers line in the 80s by Kenner. That is where I got to know the character. That figure, though, had a brown attire instead of green. Mattel's DCUC also has a brown version, but it is a lot rarer than this green one, which is also a bit hard to find. So Mattel Kalibak is a nostalgia piece, even if the colors do not jive.
McFarlane's attention to detail is admirable.
Meanwhile, Mattel is in a much smaller scale, but also has nice details.
Kalibak is Darkseid's son, who yearns to take over his father's throne. All he knows is cruelty and violence.
That nose ring sure makes me want to tie him to a tree like some ugly cattle, LOL.
Action figures, even if they are villains, make me happy to be alive! This collection is great.
