Instant Noodle Invention

Recently asked our new househelp to cook some instant pancit canton. These are instant noodles with no broth. However, she thought it was noodle soup, so she put in the spices and flavor along with boiling water huhu.

To make up for it, I added laurel leaves, star anise, and barbecue sauce to the mix. The resulting taste was amazing. The flavor was like some kind of Chinese dish with added BBQ.

Happy to have made this cheap instant food a more delectable fare for the palate. Glad to be alive to savor this simple concoction 🥰🥰🥰
