Your time is your asset.

Choose where you invest your assets wisely.

I'm a morning person. That means that I'm the first person up in the household and have an hour to myself every day before i have to deal with the usual family bits and pieces of breakfast and school.

I used to be very good with my time but have lately fallen down the trap of doom scrolling on the phone. Countless hours wasted on Instagram looking at the same stupid videos instead of adding to my crypto stack through hive or other options.

I’ve been in the crypto game for a while now. Seen all sorts of projects and ways to earn money Some, like Splinterlands, stick around and build something real. Others, disappear overnight.

But the one constant through all the bull runs, bear markets, and rug pulls? Time.

It’s the one thing you’re spending whether you’re aping into a Solana shitcoin or stacking HIVE for the long haul. Every choice you make, every post you write, every game you play, every token you stake is a transaction of time.

Every bit of time is a chance to write a post, post a comment or play a match in Splinterlands. Any one of those choices is a way to earn more crypto and to increase your stack. Any one of those is a better option than watching one more insta post and then one more and one more.

Think about it like this.

When you’re grinding out a blog post on InLeo, you’re not just typing words. You’re investing hours into building your digital identity, earning LEO tokens, and maybe even catching the eye of someone who’ll follow you and keep adding to your account for the future.. That’s time turning into an asset.

And then it compounds.
In the early days that time would earn little to nothing in crypto since the votes i was receiving were so small and so rare that it wasn't worth the time that was going into it. The same for my tiny splinterlands collection. I was battling against all the big accounts and getting the scraps from the reward system.

It seemed like a waste of time but in reality it was adding future gains. I needed to put in the hard work for scraps so that when i could keep growing and building up to where I would like to be on hive.

I'm still doing that. I'm not sure if we ever get to the finish line but at least after 8 years the stacks have grown and the numbers are bigger.

Anybody can do it and and anybody can can put their time to better use. Too many of us are guilty of waiting it on the phone or on bad habits.

I'm making a conscious effort at the moment to put more time into crypto, exercise and activities that make me life gains since it is so precious.

Even this morning I was sitting there doing nothing and had to force myself to get writing and to get active online. It's a nice feeling to have some end product for the time instead of wondering where it went after playing with my phone for an hour.

The next trick after that will be to keep compounding that time so that in the future it will gain by itself and free up my time for other activities.

Leo has gotten very good for this with delegations and dividends. It will just be about building the stack big enough to make a difference.

Crypto is like a magic time machine and potentially much better than fiat in the long run since the value is determined in a much more free manner.

That said, my problem is that crypto puts me in close proximity to my biggest time-wasting temptations. What to do?! 🤣

I just have to force myself to focus on the things that will ultimately buy back my time. Posting, commenting, buying passive income.

Indeed $LEO is helping immensely in obtaining more time freedom.

Half and half.
Life is no fun if we spend all of our time chasing gains. We all need to to switch off as well.

I jus try to make sure that i spend some time every day being productive and then if i want to watch silly videos on insta in the evening i've put in the work already.

Leo is my main focus at the moment since i think the liquid supply is going to get very scarce in the next few months. That's why all of my liquid rewards are being used to buy up more from the market while earning from delegating have as well.

If my gamble pays off it could really set me up toward financial freedom and having full control over my time.

Indeed! I often feel guilty when I'm doom scrolling through Twitter. On the one hand, I can tell that I'm learning some bits of information from a tweet here and there but the return on time seems insignificant compared to spending that same time commenting on Hive posts where I'm building at least a near tangible identity that I own.

Absolutely.
There are some advantages to being on your phone if you are gaining something from it. Sometimes we can learn about new projects, make new connections or add skills. Not all value is monetary but there is dead time spent scrolling and then making gains from your time spent online.

Anybody can do it and and anybody can can put their time to better use. Factual and very encouraging. It is one of those habits I am working on meeting up; investing for the future. Thanks for this wonderful piece of article friend.

Great that your working towards a goal and trying to grow. As you said, anybody can do it but having the mindset to actually complete it is different.

Yes friend, mindset is very important.
