Bear markets are for buying.

I think that it's a good time to be moving money back into crypto. It's been a rough month or so in the crypto markets and I did sell out a few positions in September when things were moving in the right direction.

Now that prices seemed to have stabilized it feels like a good time to start buying back into the markets.

I bought bitcoin last week. It's slightly recovered at the moment and up about 10%. Not enough to write home about but it's good to see.

I bought a little more with some spare funds and picked up a good chunk of solana last night after a few whiskey's.

I know it's a shitcoin but it's one of the biggest and if the markets are pumping then it's coming back up.

I bough on revolut X with some saving s since they have 8% APR form staking and it's not a long term play.

It's a try to gain 20% play and earn some interest I wait for it to move upwards.

I read a post today that said the point of investing isn't to hold onto assets. It's to make profits.

Try to make profits where you can from investing and move it into revenue generating assets that provide passive income regularly.

That is the goal with some of these trades.

With hive and leo it's to grow my stack and play the long game as they are my conviction play.

With assets like solana it's to buy a low price and offload for 20-50% profit when the chance comes. Then wait for the next opportunity to do the same again.

We're not in a full bear market at the moment but it's been a month of downward pressure and primed for a comeback hopefully.

Plan on picking up any Hive?

At the moment, no.

I already have the majority of my funds in the hive ecosystem and I'm waiting to see what happens next from our devs and witnesses.

We need a change of direction as a community that im waiting to see.

There is talk from the witnesses about tightening up spending but I need to see it happen and need to see teams building revenue generating products.

If I had those I would rotate everything back into hive.

Sounds like a good plan! I think holding assets that increase in value over time is one of the most basic investment plays out there. I'd like to take profits with upward volatility on some of these tokens and then hold them in stablecoins or tokenized gold before deploying them back into the market. Basic iteration game between investing, taking profits, re-investing again, etc.
