I thought this was happening to me, and that it was a mistake on my part. I still need to review and use the new editor to improve.
I was glad to see that the editor has already adopted two ideas I mentioned in previous comments: including an indication of where the post title should be placed, and allowing the option to use the old editor.
The editor is still in development and your suggestions are needed and appreciated! Thanks! Captions will be working as expected soon.
