Penúltimo día del año, cumpleaños de @estitxu y salimos a carretera, para terminar el año en la playa como nos ha gustado hacerlo con mi mamá.
Este año es especial! Tenemos a mi suegra de visita y bueno hay que quedar bien no?
Jaja pues eso fue todo lo que no ocurrió!!!
Comenzamos el viaje con una sorpresa, accidente en la autopista y una desviación de más de 1 hora!!!
Desayunamos en casa entonces no había tanto problema.... O eso creíamos no sabíamos lo que nos esperaba...
Han reservado por Airbnb? Parece una plataforma segura no??
Pues no!! NOS HICIERON FRAUDE!
Al llegar a la casa marcada en el mapa estaba remodelada y ya había una familia dentro (muy lindos por cierto, nos dejaron utilizar el baño)
Y ahí estamos a medio día varados en la playa sin hotel ni alojamiento, comenzó el estrés, por mi parte llamando a soporte para resolver la situación del alojamiento y el dinero más de 50 mil pesos tirados a la basura nooooo gracias!
Afortunadamente soporte respondió y nos devolvieron el dinero pero en PayPal XD lo que hizo más complicado retirarlo porque el dinero se fue a una cuenta que ya no tengo (tragame tierra eso será un problema a atender en Guadalajara)
Por fin estuvimos paseando por todo manzanillo, llamado a cuanto lugar nos respondían es víspera de año nuevo ya todo está ocupado! Subimos a un hotel hermoso grandes vistas pero muchas escaleras.... MUCHAS!
No podíamos quedarnos ahí era muy mala onda para la familia o por lo menos para los mayores.
Seguimos la búsqueda y dimos con un lugar bonito y a buen precio (dios aprieta pero no ahorca) jeje
Al final del día nos fuimos por una caminata nocturna en la playa y encontramos luminiscencia en el agua precioso!!!
Además de una estrella de mar o si y un show de drones!
A pesar de ser un cumpleaños muy atropellado espero que @estitxu me disculpé por todo lo mal que lo pasamos :/

Second-to-last day of the year — @estitxu’s birthday — and we hit the road to end the year at the beach, just like my mom and I love to do.
This year is special! My mother-in-law is visiting, so of course we have to make a good impression, right?
Haha… well, that’s exactly what didn’t happen!!!
We started the trip with a surprise: an accident on the highway and a detour of more than an hour!!!
We had breakfast at home, so it didn’t seem like a big deal… or so we thought. We had no idea what was coming.
Have you ever booked through Airbnb? It seems like a safe platform, right??
Well… nope!! WE GOT SCAMMED!
When we arrived at the house marked on the map, it was under renovation and already occupied by a family (very kind people, by the way — they even let us use the bathroom).
So there we were, stranded at midday on the beach with no hotel or accommodation. Stress kicked in. I spent my time calling support to resolve the lodging issue and the money — over 50,000 pesos gone down the drain… no thank you!!!
Fortunately, support responded and refunded the money — but via PayPal XD — which made things more complicated because it went to an account I no longer have (earth, please swallow me… that’ll be a problem to fix back in Guadalajara).
Finally, we drove all around Manzanillo, calling every place that answered. It’s New Year’s Eve — everything is fully booked! We found a beautiful hotel with amazing views… but sooo many stairs. So many!
There was no way we could stay there — it would’ve been really tough for the family, especially the older ones.
We kept searching and finally found a nice place at a good price (God squeezes but doesn’t choke 😅).
At the end of the day, we went for a nighttime walk on the beach and found bioluminescence in the water — absolutely beautiful!
We also spotted a starfish, and yes, even caught a drone show!
Despite such a chaotic birthday, I really hope @estitxu forgives me for everything we went through :/
