About two years ago, I started to work on overcoming my fear of speaking in front ...

... of large audiences (never had an issue with smaller ones, though).

At the time, I had been invited by a large investment bank in Berlin to introduce Blockchain and Security Tokens to their key staff members.

Luckily, they didn't tell me that I was going to be broadcasted live via cam to several other branch offices.

After the presentation was over, I received so much positive feedback that I couldn't quite comprehend it.

However, it enabled me to overcome my fear and to find some joy in speaking public.

Since then, I've had multiple public speaking opportunities, including hosting a Meetup Event with 50+ people in front of me.

For 2020 it is my goal to take at least three public speaking opportunities, let's see how that goes ;)

Welcome....it’s wonderful you‘ve overcome your fears👏...i‘m unable to talk to people in front of me😏....so i still prefer to listen😉

That's a noble way to overcome fears.. mine is maybe do bunjee jumping.. like i love the thought of it.. but actually doing it gives me jitters.. so that's what id wanna do..

Fear only exists in your mind. You have to confront this fear in order to overcome this negative feeling. Congratulations on your success so far. Keep going 💪

I agree! It’s never too late🙏🏽 I still don’t like to talk in front of a lot of people but maybe we should ask ourselves why we are afraid? It’s okay to make mistakes as long as we learn from it!
