€45 a night is a really great deal, even better if your friend hadn't shared it with someone else at the same time. Was he expecting you all to stay together or was it some sort of mix up?

        Ya the course was really nice and I birdied the 18th from a greenside bunker which was a sweet way to sign off on a course I've wanted to play for a while.

        They double booked, just one of those things. Very nice to offer their holiday home in the first place, so zero complaints.
