It does not rush.
Hunger never does.
Each step is measured,
heavy with knowing.
The ground remembers its weight
before the paw touches it.
The mouth opens—
not in anger,
but in truth.
This is what survival looks like
when stripped of apology.
Muscle speaks before mercy.
Silence learns to step aside.
Nothing here is cruel—
only honest.
This is not a beast searching for blood.
It is need given a body,
moving forward
because stopping
was never an option.
