Hi guys,
how are you doing today
Today I’ll be sharing with you a new artwork i created recently using ballpoint and charcoal on paper.
——————— THE GIRL WHO SITS ———————
She sits, where the world forgets to rush,
beneath the willow’s whispered hush.
A book unopened on her knee,
her gaze adrift in reverie.
Not idle, no, but holding still,
the kind of calm that bends the will.
The sun drapes gold across her hair,
and shadows dance, but she’s not there.
Her thoughts, perhaps, have flown afar,
to cities lit by stranger stars,
or maybe she just watches bees,
and hears the secrets told by trees.
No words, no laughter, no demand
just folded hands and quiet land.
A girl who teaches, without trying,
the art of sitting, and not sighing.
While all around her, moments spin,
she gathers silence deep within,
and leaves the world to wonder why
stillness looks so much like sky.
