Hi guys,
Today I’ll be sharing with you the last 7 drawings i created since i resumed back my daily practice after a months of break due to some personal concerns.
The first two days back in drawing felt a bit challending but we consistency, i was able to regain my original level of draughtmanship and looking forward to improving more on it.
——————— ARTIST STATEMENT ———————
These drawings focus on quiet moments—gestures that exist between strength and vulnerability. Using charcoal and graphite, I leave the marks visible, allowing the figures to remain slightly unresolved. This process reflects how memory, emotion, and identity are formed through pressure, repetition, and change.
The figures—children, women, and animals—carry more than their physical presence. They suggest care, endurance, and connection without relying on fixed narratives. Rather than telling specific stories, the works invite recognition, holding space for tenderness as something deliberate and hard-earned.
This series is about slowing down, paying attention, and preserving moments before they turn into memory.
