Hello @kemmyb. You know what you say is true. It is easy to pity the spouse or other person in a relationship where the other party is dependent upon that person for home healthcare. It can be exhausting and weary to the mind and heart. The strength to keep going through adversity is nothing compared to the person who is afflicted. I truly admire the couple. Giving up doesn't appear to be an option.

My short piece was just my input into a small issue I faced years ago with my impending surgery. Assurance from my spouse helped me overcome the nervousness. Knowing that he would be by my side through adversity was all I needed to heal with the help of God holding my spine together.

I'm pleased you liked my mixed media art project. The shark is rising out of impediments at the bottom of the water attempting to keep it down. I also appreciate your support, engagement and kind compliment for my project.
