Wie so viele habe auch ich ein paar Vorsätze für das neue Jahr 2020 gefasst ...

Actually, I only made one resolution because I think from my own experience that such terminated resolutions don't work, but this one will.

Eigentlich habe ich mir nur nur einen einzigen Vorsatz vorgenommen, weil ich aus eigener Erfahrung denke, dass solche terminisierten Vorsätze nicht funktionieren, aber dieser wird es.

I want to take more pictures and neglect my work even more.

That may sound strange, but I just don't want to think about the office and work as much in my free time anymore, and when a phone call on the business SIM comes in, I don't want to always pick up in the future, but that's depending on who calls because certain colleagues only call when it is really important.

Ich möchte mehr fotografieren und meine Arbeit noch mehr vernachlässigen.

Das klingt vielleicht komisch, aber ich möchte einfach in meiner Freizeit weniger an das Büro und an die Arbeit denken, und wenn das ein Telefonanruf auf der dienstlichen SIM kommt, dann will ich in Zukunft nicht mehr immer abheben - je nachdem, wer anruft, weil bestimmte Kollegen rufen nur an, wenn es wirklich wichtig ist.

I also want to keep trying to post a photo every day, but I probably don't always have the latest photos.

So far I have tried that my posts or the photos of my posts are not older than a few days. Of course, sometimes I made exceptions, and in the future I will make such exceptions more often. Hundreds of photos ended up in my archive over the course of the year and will now be gradually incorporated into my posts. Of course I want to stay up to date, but sometimes it just won't be possible, and I'll have to use older photos.

Außerdem möchte ich versuchen, weiterhin täglich einen Foto-Beitrag zu posten, aber wahrscheinlich nicht immer aktuelle Fotos dazu haben.

Bis jetzt habe ich versucht, dass meine Beiträge beziehungsweise die Fotos zu meinen Beiträgen nicht älter sind als ein paar Tage. Manchmal habe ich natürlich auch Ausnahmen gemacht, und solche Ausnahmen werde ich zukünftig öfter machen. Hunderte von Fotos sind im Laufe des Jahres in meinem Archiv gelandet und werden nun nach und nach in meine Beiträge eingebaut werden. Natürlich möchte ich aktuell bleiben, aber manchmal wird es einfach nicht anders möglich sein, als ältere Fotos zu verwenden.
