I'm way more excited about this than I expected to be. I need to write a post about it to parse my thoughts but at first glance, this looks like it might be enough to respark the economy by themselves. Absolutely huge.

I'm curious what you think about the vouchers use for later tranches. If we ever get to tranche 7 vouchers could have a floor put in around $40. That would be very interesting if there was any kid of a release that required their use around that time.

I'm guessing the second pool is to take some pressure off the voucher price if we get that high.

While in theory that would be turn in a world where vouchers were only used for these nodes and the nodes where in high enough demand then sure I could see it at that point. I don't see us getting back #2 though honestly. That would however still put a voucher at $5 but then again they are used for packs which are just $4 at the moment. That of course changes again with the introduction of "dice" style packs which can only be bought with SPS and most likely vouchers I would put us at around $4-$5 range on vouchers. I honestly only see SPS and Vouchers moving up in price over the next three quarters so that puts us early 2023 when land launches.

I'm remembering the launch of vouchers when they got up to $20 to buy $4 packs. People can be very irrational.

I still have a lot of math I need to do on it but those upper tiers do seem a little lofty. Especially with a 5ish year cutoff on SPS. If all 60k sold out it would take 80 months to recoup the SPS investment as everyone would be getting just 56 SPS per month.

Even if Vouchers cut it in half and you pretended vouchers didn't have a cost, it would still be 40 months and I'm assuming there's no way they sell out fast enough to make that worth it.

I don't know. It's going to be interesting. And I hope you're right on land. It doesn't seem like they have any idea what they want it to be yet. It was on the last roadmap to "fully launch" in 2021 and it doesn't feel like we're any closer today.

I think it's one of those long term early investment things and having one couldn't hurt. It does seem a bit of a risky investment though compared to just stacking more SPS

I'm going to grab one of them. Haven't yet determined if its better to get in on the presale or just wait until tranche 1 though. I'm leaning toward tranche 1.

SPS will probably trend upward for a while and then spike when the excitement really gets going which is probably the time to grab one. Plus I can use the hive I save on buying vouchers right now to trade and make more hive throughout the rest of 2022. And I can stake this SPS and build there too.

Yeah, I just made up my mind. Tranche 1.

Yep, that's kind of where I am at in terms with it all. I feel SPS value is only going to increase so forking over $1,000 or even $1,500 worth of it as soon as it goes on sale would have a very real potential of a negative impact compared to if I wait and SPS doubles or triples in price.
