Finally, I will also post two coins that I acquired a long time ago. I have been an avid fan of the Germania Mint, and taken advantage of their announcement of their second Norse Gods silver bar, which is going to be Thor, I will present this set of 2 coins. It was difficult to find a good picture from these coins since they are made of blackened silver, so the optimal light for the picture was difficult. I guess that I finally got some good pictures of that.
Black silver is the process of silver oxidation using chemicals so it gets this nice color. It gives a different aspect to the coin, which I enjoyed. The coins are very similar but represent two different entities that are brothers. Skol and Haiti were sons of Fenrir, the monstrous wolf from the Norse mythology. Haiti was born and pursues the moon and Skol pursues the Sun. The coins show these aspects bring some symbols to represent the Moon and Sun in each coin. The coins were release at the same time as first part of the Ragnarok collection.
Ragnarok is the end of the world in the Norse mythology, the final battle of the Gods and the Giants. Haiti and Skol are born with the mission to devour, respectively the Sun and the Moon. Can you imagine what type of wolf would be capable of swallowing the Sun? It would be interesting to see. Yesterday I finally got the package from that seller that was sent incorrectly. Now, for sure,e I will need one year to present all my new silver acquisitions.
Por fim, também postarei duas moedas que adquiri há muito tempo. Sou um grande fã da Casa da Moeda da Germânia e, aproveitando o anúncio da segunda barra de prata dos Deuses Nórdicos, que será Thor, apresentarei este conjunto de duas moedas. Foi difícil encontrar uma boa imagem dessas moedas, já que são feitas de prata enegrecida, então a luz ideal para a imagem foi difícil. Acho que finalmente consegui algumas boas fotos disso.
