Will be happy to add a vote to you. But see little point in posts like these. Especially when "the" witness vote was only out of coincidence that you were along the 6 closest to the top 20... A rather poor display of what supporting a witness should really be about (securing the chain, diversify/decentralize development, etc).

        Thanks for taking the time to clarify the reasons for your down-vote.

        We believe it's important to let our users and supporters know that our witness is now in the top 20 because:

        1. most of them will not check the witnesses ranking regularly
          1b. They voted for us so we believe (and the comments have shown) they are happy about this and believe it to be good news.
        2. We wanted to address that we are technically capable and things were going well.
          2b. Also address that we'll be doing more things to make sure it continues to be smooth sailing.
        3. To state that we are grateful for any more votes. (seeing that delegated proof of stake does take some promotion) And to list some of the benefits we bring to Steem and their experience.

        We'd say these are the main reasons behind the post... it was not any statement of the actions of the voter that got us there and surprised us when we woke up that morning.
