Hi Actifitters,
considering it was Sunday, I really did a lot of exercise yesterday. I started with an extensive warm-up, followed by pull-ups. I still do these with the help of a resistance band. I’ve resolved to follow a structured training plan—just as I did with push-ups—once I can manage five pull-ups in a row. That happened yesterday; I was actually just a tiny bit short of a sixth repetition.
Next, I moved on to dumbbell curls and dumbbell rows. Between the exercises, I incorporated short aerobic segments and repeatedly stretched my tight left hamstrings. I’m curious to see if I can eventually get my hamstrings back to a normal state. That’s how I spent a good 90 minutes before wrapping up the first part of my sporty Sunday.
After a protein shake, a banana, and a few blood plums, I took a break of a good half-hour before getting on the smart trainer to pedal for 90 minutes at 150 watts.
Mission 80 (Day 42 = 87.1 kg / Goal = 80.0 kg / Initial weight = 90.0 / Total loss = 2.9 kg)
I’m not thrilled with the 87.1 kg showing on the scale today, but compared to previous Mondays, the weight gain over this weekend is significantly lower. So, I can live with it and look ahead.
Even though I don't feel particularly fit right now—despite getting restful sleep; perhaps it has to do with the high air pressure we're currently experiencing—I'm going to pull myself together and get moving. On the agenda are close-grip push-ups, a few other strength exercises, and a good hour on the bike.
