DTube Series #8 - #BuildUp50SP - Participate In Contests And Giveaways

In this video I talk about #BuildUp50SP, and having 50 Steem Power means that you have enough Resource Credits (RC) to cover your needs for transacting on the Steem blockchain.

And here I talk specifically about participating in contests on Steem where you are able to elevate your Steem and Steem Power, to get you there faster and more easily while also building engagement and your brand.

I do know that Steem Terminal have the Redfish Rally contests on a monthly basis, though I am a bit unsure what the prizes are, but @bradleyarrow is participating this month and he might be able to help you.

I also have my own contest where the first winner got a 500 SP delegation, and I have so far also paid out 9 of the 10 second place winners of 50 SP delegation each, the last spot might be taken, if the person that got it can find their Steem handle, if not that one is still open.

I just also paid out another 50 SP Delegation which was leased on Dlease.io and the lease has been filled, and it was given to.

Exactly, Erik! Besides writing posts daily, the contests are good way to grow your Steem and SP... There are photo contests, writing contests... Just make an effort and you will find them... I'm doing Splinterlands giveaway every day on my gaming account... Cards from the game can be sold for STEEM, so that is also a good way to raise your STEEM balance.. ;)

Thanks Zoltan, and you just gave me an idea, building your list by making an ebook about Splinterlands that promotes their affiliate program and using the tools in CTP, plus having an initial giveaway of Spliterlands cards to boost subscribers and make it go viral in the Splinterlands community and promoting both the game and CTP to anyone that you can give it away to.

Only thing is I am not in Splinterlands, so if I write the ebook frame plus the listbuilding and rebranding part, you can write the Splinterlands part, and we both be authors of the ebook, while of course giving it away with our own version with our own affiliate links?

Awesome idea?

I have to say I am bad. I am taking part in the red fish rally for December. I do not know the prize. I think I did but I am having so much fun that I forgot. Maybe someone reading this will help refresh my memory. Lol

Yes, having 50SP should be the first target for newfish. Resource credits are essential and 50SP does give enough to get active. When I accumulated all my crypto acquired from other sites and traded them for over 380 Steem Power, that made a huge difference to my participation as I'm rarely under 60% resource credits now.

I'm glad that @ubani got the last of your 50SP as he's a great guy with a very interesting story to tell and his having more resource credits will let him engage more here on Steem and in CTPtalk. Africa is currently the continent with the fastest uptake of internet activity, and I do seek out engagement with steemians from there.

I'm hoping to get past 500SP in a few weeks time, so that 50SP you delegated to me can be redelegated elsewhere and another newfish can benefit from your kindness, Erik.

Thanks @ianballantine, maybe I wrote a too long description and you did not see the video too, but anyways I am glad that you now have enough resource credits and SP Ian, and the delegation is a lease so it's 18 weeks wether you want it or not, and it is very important to have enough RC to cover what you need, and as to more new Steemians getting a delegation there are more ebooks coming, so stay tuned and awesome.
