Such good boys, especially to share our home with a DOG, lol!
We spent the morning soaking in the hot tub, listening to Mr. Squirrel as he munched on MY walnuts! I gave up the fight several years ago as he begins work before I would harvest them. I guess he’s more in need of them than I am, lol!
We eventually made it out with a trip to town. Of course, there must be coffee! We had ours as you can see!
We wound our way by the fairgrounds and I’ll have to say that for day 3 and especially a Saturday at that, it would appear the crowds are not large this year. Perhaps everyone is waiting for tomorrow. If you go to Cowboy Church on Sunday at 8 AM, you are admitted to the fair at no charge. That saves you $15 per adult so tomorrow might be crowded! We are planning to go Monday or Tuesday. It depends on Bill’s timeline for picking up Phoenix.
Later we took Phoenix out for a walk about the yard. It almost seems as if the fall season is in full swing here, to look at the ground!
These little flowers often bloom straight through winter despite the cold. They especially during the winter are a ray of hope of the spring that eventually comes.
