Well! That for sure and certain is not a flower! You’d be correct-that’s Alfred the Seagull perched atop a tall parking lot light fixture missing its light in Bellingham.
The morning began with a nice soak in the hot tub. The inflatable hot tub I purchased 4 years ago is still going strong. I’m hoping we get another year out of it yet. So far it’s worked out wonderfully! 😎
Later into the day, we set out for the Home Depot to get some roof sealant. While there, I took some flower pictures you’ll see in just a few. We headed next to Walmart where I got a small area rug to protect the hardwood floor from my rocking chair. 😎 Then we went across the street to the Woods Coffeehouse to indulge in mocha frappes. You see, it’s turned hot and muggy and we were wilting from it. The coffees along with their air conditioning revived us nicely!
Now, for the flower pictures. Whereas there’s not an ‘official’ list of flowes for the day of the week, there is one that’s generally considered one-sort of. It goes like this:
Monday-White Lily
Tuesday-Red Carnation
Wednesday-Lavender
Thursday-Sunflower
Friday-Red Rose
Saturday-Violet
Sunday-Marigold
I did capture at least one of the flowers on the list. Enjoy!
Despite it being the middle of July, the garden center was very much alive and extremely well stocked! I resisted purchasing anything new although there were some indoor and outdoor plants I would have loved to have gotten!
Tomorrow is ladies Bible study which I’m looking forward to as I had to work last week.
