Happy Valentine’s Day everybody! ❤️🌹🤗 I hope you had a lovely day!
Today I wanted to go to the local nursery and see what was blooming! They are fairly expensive, but going there is peaceful because of all of the plants. I really didn’t expect to find anything today, but in my meandering around with @silvertop, I’d found 2 to start.
There are ‘zones’ in this nursery. A warm and humid area for houseplants; a cooler area but inside the sales floor area with succulents and orchids; an outdoor sheltered area with blooming outdoor plants; a gift shop type area; outdoor nursery area, and an outdoor area under roof but open and not heated. So much to see!
I found an adorable weeping pussy willow tree. Actually about a dozen of them. They were $30 which I honestly didn’t think was too bad a price!
I seriously thought about one but might go back another time and if they’re still around, them I might get one.

I also got quite the surprise when we found this!
There were a few bees about, but this is February and as far as I remember, I’ve not ever seen them out this early! This little fella had the pollen sacks on his hind legs and had a huge display of snow roses all to himself! A bee 🐝 in heaven, lol!
I retrieved my plants I mentioned- a baby False Aralia, a Parlor Palm, and the plant I asked an employee if they had, which they had one left- a eucalyptus plant! It was at a good price as well, so I was pleased with my Valentine purchase.
Then it was off to Starbucks where I splurged on a sweet treat-a Dubai Chocolate Bite! This was my first taste of the Dubai type treats I’ve heard about. I did not have them heat it. It was tasty and paired with my modified mocha, very tasty indeed!
