Cot like to sit on you when you are in the middle of doing things! I’ve bent over to get laundry only to have him land with a bit of punch on my back! Of course, once this happens, you can’t just stand up! To do so invariably brings some pain as he latches on for fear of falling off! 🙀
Today was one of those days where you had several things that needed doing. We need to get our old albatross of a dryer out. We’ve not used it in over 10 years as we had purchased a smaller dryer that runs on 110V power. It died Tuesday night, so after much searching, found essentially the same dryer but under a new company. It was due to arrive today. So, I spent the morning clearing off both the washer and dryer and boxing up various laundry products in anticipation of the dryer removal.
Then, knowing we needed to go to Costco to pick up a dessert for tomorrow’s church picnic, we set out to go.

While out, we stopped at My Nursery so I could spend the balance of my flower dollars. I picked up my bee coffee mug I’d had my eye on. I’ll show it in a later post.
When we got to Costco, I couldn’t believe my eyes! 👀 I saw this!
They already had Christmas paper and various other displays out. Whatever happened to fall, Halloween, and Thanksgiving?!

Outside, a small thistle field was going to seed. So fuzzy looking!
Inside the grounds of the nursery, a nice display of Virginia Creeper was turning the scarlet shade it’s famous for!

Tomorrow will see us headed to church and then the picnic. Should be a good time with lots of photo opportunities! 😎
