RE: Errands

In my case, it's tricky that my working hours are fixed, and I have weekends off (when nothing from the administration works).
So if I have to go to the bank, the municipality, or some other institution, then I plan one day to finish everything, then I take a day off from work.
That day, it's like in a movie, I run left, wait, run right, wait, run...
And when it comes to weekends and chores around the house, I plan them for both days in the morning, to have the second part of the day free.
First, let's finish the shopping, and on the second day, prepare the house (washing the windows, vacuuming, arranging the flowers, ironing the laundry...)

Yeah, it's often difficult when fixed working hours means no week days in which to do small tasks. I'm fortunate that I have some flexibility with my organisation.

I don't like to live a planned and scheduled life all the time but I find my life is better when things like errands are planned out; it means I get them done efficiently and have more time to spend in unplanned ways.
