The weekend is upon us, and that means CATURDAY, my favorite day of the week! I hope everyone is having a good Caturday, wherever you might be!
It's still too wintry to be outside...
Moments of Gratitude!
It has been a peaceful Caturday around here. The Dad-Hooman has been working on his "eBay stuff" and the Mom-Hooman is away this weekend, visiting the Daughter-Hooman in Seattle.
Although we are far removed, I can't help but think about the poor people and pets in war torn Ukraine. As a cat, I don't have political leanings, but it does make me angry when stupid Hoomans cause damage and destruction! At the same time, I am very grateful for what we have here!
I feel for all the poor cats and dogs caught in the mess... and being left behind at overfilled shelters because their Hoomans don't bring them along.
Grateful for my comfy Cat Condo!
Meanwhile...
I have been spending a little more time doing my "Investor Cat" impersonation, trying to learn about the whole "Defi" thing.
After all, one of the first things I did, "way back in the when," was invest in some of the Hive-Engine ("Steem-Engine", back then) "LEO" tokens because they sounded quite "cat like."
Turned out that was a good decision! Several years later, I have lots more LEO tokens, as well as various flavors of CUB tokens! Must say, I'm quite attached to the whole "cat" theme they have going!

Time Change!
Meanwhile, we start in on what you Hoomans call "Daylight Saving Time" tonight... at least here in the USA. Which means we'll go to sleep, and when we wake up, we'll have "lost" an hour.
Not entirely sure how I feel about that... I need all the hours I can get, for my naps!
Seems like one of those still Hooman inventions to me. Let's be real... a day is so long, and a night is so long, and changing the clock doesn't make anything longer or shorter.
But I guess you have your own brand of logic!

Spring is Springing... at Last!
I think we are all happy that spring is almost here. The sun comes through the window for a little longer... and those sun puddles feel so good!
The Dad-Hooman has even been cutting back some of the branches overhanging the house, so we will get more sun. I know he's doing it for me, even though he says that it's "to keep leaves out of the gutters."
Well, that's about it, for this Caturday edition! Better get this posted, before I run out of day...

Cats by @captainklaus (and Sissi!) is another "general" cat content community; it's there, but not very active.
Last, but certainly not least, a special shoutout to the recently formed Hive Pets Community which has become quite active and has quite a bit of cat content!
There are a number of other feline communities listed on Hive, but I am not sharing them for now as they have not had any activity (by their Admins OR users) since the Steem/Hive fork. Updates as they become available!
