There was this side quest, titled Blind to the World, Legend's Tale of the Lunar Goddess Dwelling within Moonveil Mountain. A wanderer once glimpsed her reflection atop the sacred peak, singing beneath the moon. It's time to find out what secrets lie beneath the crimson caves.

I encountered a man named Unfated Tian standing by the edge of the lake. My character recognized him as an uncle, and he seemed deep in thought while staring at the water.

He mentioned that there was serious money to be made in the depths of that lake and explained that someone was paying him a handsome sum to investigate what was hidden down there.

Tian asked for my help to dive in and uncover the lake's secrets. I agreed and leaped into the water under a beautiful moonlit sky. It was a clear, full night when I made the jump.

A strange thing happened once I landed in the water. When I opened photo mode to look at the horizon, the lighting shifted completely; instead of the dark night, the colors of the sky looked more like a warm evening or an early morning glow.

I dove deep underwater and spotted a massive, ancient statue. I swam through the murky depths to get right in front of the stone figure. It was clear that this place held a lot of history that had been submerged for a long time.

To progress, I had to open a complex drainage system by reactivating three different contraptions scattered around the area. I began swimming from one mechanism to the next, toggling the ancient machinery to get the water moving.

As soon as I finished reactivating the third contraption, the drainage system roared to life. All the water in the lake began to vanish down the drain, and I watched as the lake started drying out rapidly. The underwater world I was just exploring was suddenly exposed to the open air.

My character climbed back up to find Tian and explain that the lake was now empty. After cracking a hard joke about the situation, Tian jumped straight down to the bottom of the lake to claim his prize.

I had no choice but to follow him down into the depths. The transformation of the landscape was incredible, and now that the water is gone, we can finally see exactly what those secrets are.
That's all for now.
