The absolute most SP I've ever had was 1500 something, all earned except i bought two or three hundred of it at one point when i was doing well financially. Ive powered down on two different occasions very reluctantly but, only because i absolutely had no other choice, it was during times of unemployment. Ideally, I'd never power down and if I had 100K SP I would certainly work harder on curation and reinvesting into the platform.

However, if I had 100K SP now,i would power enough down to get by (unemployed and health problems again) but I'd keep lots invested in the platform. After two years here I def believe in Steemit and have never given up on it & don't plan to.
