I love all flowers, and that pink rose is absolutely beautiful. I really enjoy appreciating the texture, the colour gradients and that subtle dew; they’re perfect, just like nature itself. I also prefer buds to fully open roses, but I hadn’t thought about those outer petals that age more quickly due to exposure to the air and the weather. It makes me think about how those petals protect the inner ones until they’re ready to open up to life.
