I thought they would give you a wetsuit to dive into the water... going with just a swimsuit it's wild! Now I get why it's such an amazing (and... breathtaking, I guess!) experience! Not sure I'd be brave enough to do it 🤣

I think the more you think about it, and read about other people's experience, where even 70 years old do it, you have more confidence in your self.💪
It’s not that I don’t trust myself... it’s that I'm scared by what might be hidding below the water surface 🤣 probably there's no real treat for human in the Antarctic Sea (I know that some sharks live in cold waters but they are harmless for humans) but still I can't see myself diving into deep water so far frome the shore... you have been very brave to do it!
That's the exact reason why I would never scuba dive because I'm always worried I might find a dead body deep under sea.
I never thought about what I might see under water during the polar plunge because it's a quick dip in and out. But I'm glad there was no discussion here before hand. With your shark and @leaky20's giant squid, I'm sure you guys would have put me off doing it 🤣🤣🤣
Ahahah luckily we came here telling you our fears after you did it 🤣 it was a once in a lifetime experience, so it was the right choice doing it (and luckily no sharks or giant squids were there waiting for you!)
