I think that metaverses can be the next step in the crypto world. Unfortunately the two main ones are built on ethereum and I believe the chain and the transaction fees will be the bottlenecks until ethereum 2.0 is out. I kind of like the idea to consider splinterlands as a metaverse. Who knows what they have in store for us ;-)
